With: Olynda Smith

Treating ourselves and our children with compassion is a skill that brings sweetness, ease, connection, patience, and joy into our family lives. Compassion heals, brings understanding, and minimizes power struggles and discipline issues. Most importantly, it helps our children feel the powerful love we have for them. It also frees us up to enjoy being the perfectly imperfect parents we are, so we can grow and evolve alongside our children. And compassion isn’t something we can just turn on! It takes practice and skill and healing. In this workshop we’ll explore and experience specific tools for nourishing our own compassionate response. Olynda has crafted this workshop from her training as a Simplicity Parenting Family Life Coach, her fifteen years of yoga teaching experience, her experience as a Montessori teacher, and her experience as a parent.
