When: Sundays, May 21–June 4, 5:30–6:45 p.m.
With: Laura Terry and Ruth Newnam
Join survivors and yoga instructors (and sisters) Laura Terry and Ruth Newnam for this free introductory series for breast cancer survivors and caregivers designed to reduce anxiety, depression, fatigue and other side effects of diagnosis and treatment.

Whether you are recently diagnosed, receiving treatment, or surviving treatment, this series is a great way to begin or reinvent your yoga practice in a safe, supportive environment. Connect with your body, develop effective breath practices and safe asana practices that take you beyond gentle yoga, and discover mindfulness practices that help you enjoy the present and connect with loved ones and caregivers.

Laura Terry is a physical therapist with nearly 20 years of experience in the western medicine rehab world and now in private practice. Ruth Newnam is a massage therapist with 15 years of experience working with cancer patients using traditional massage and manual lymph drainage in private practice.

This is a free offering; simply walk in to connect. We’ll fill the room first come, first situated, with no online registration.
